The founder

Built by one architect, over thirteen years.

Mehdi Mesfaoui has spent thirteen years building the systems enterprises quietly rely on — intranets, document platforms, workflows, and modernisation initiatives — across every generation of SharePoint, from 2010 through SharePoint Online.

Thirteen years, four eras

From SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.

SharePoint 2010
Enterprise intranets, lists and libraries, custom branding, early workflow patterns.
SharePoint 2013
App model, SharePoint-hosted and provider-hosted apps, search schema architecture.
SharePoint 2016
Hybrid configurations, modern experience transition, governance at scale.
SharePoint Online
SPFx, Power Platform, Microsoft Teams integration, modern ALM and architecture.
The name

The wickroom.

The wickroom is where candle wicks are made — cut, braided, and laid out before anything is lit. It is preparation work. Unglamorous, precise, and entirely invisible in the finished product.

Wickroom is named after that space. Modern Microsoft 365 infrastructure — the architecture behind intranets, the workflows behind document approval, the governance behind a migration — is wickroom work. It is what makes everything else hold.

"The best infrastructure is the kind nobody notices. You only feel it when it is gone."
Quiet workshop

One architect. No account managers, no junior handoffs. The person you speak to is the person who builds.

Senior craft

Thirteen years of production scars inform every decision. The things that go wrong after launch are what get designed against first.

Anti-hype

No retainer treadmills. Work is scoped, delivered, and handed over. The goal is your independence, not your dependency.

Work with the workshop

One architect, fully focused on your project.
